Today is time for some OTHER FUN STUFF! The HASTILY MADE SILENT HILL TOURISM VIDEO. This video is a little over a year in the making. So its not so hastily edited as it is hastily filmed, but the concept is still the same.

At Ohayocon 2011 a few cosplayers got together and thought it would be great to make a Hastily Made Silent Hill Tourism video. (Cause Cleveland Rocks!) In a matter of hours we had scaled all of the convention center and had a few costumes changes in order to make footage for the video. Later some other footage was mailed to us. I worked with Miri and Stephen Poon on the music and taught myself (trial by fire) how to use Vegas Movie Studio… and then this video was born.

I want to thank everyone for dealing with my after midnight directing skills. My boyfriend for providing me with a camera after my crappy $100 died in the middle of shooting and our special guest CreativeGuy for providing our PHead footage. (What all Silent Hill videos need to be official. Oh yes.) Also thanks to Konami, Team Silent and Team Silence for inspiring all of us, every day!

I hope you enjoy our corny Silent Hill jokes as much as we did. Silent Hill Cosplay. Serious Business.

We’d like to make more videos in the future and will go by Lakeside Aperture if we do so :D

I absolutely love cosplay photography that has a theme/meaning to them. This one has to be one of my favorite of my Robbie costume and Lexxandra’s Heather. What IS underneath the dead Robbie mascot costumes throughout Silent Hill 3? Are they human or monsters…?
